The Lincoln Skyline Project (now known as the Nebraska Skyline Project) initially began back in 2010 when I was lucky enough to have a summer job in a building that faced downtown Lincoln. However, my days in the dorms ended in 2013, and I moved to Omaha in the summer 2015. Nevertheless, I chose to continue the project on a broader scale.

June 1, 2010--Part I
I have quite a few pictures to share for this particular day, so I'm doing this post in two parts. First, the top photo shows what the sky looked like when I woke up. There were already some storms and showers in the area, and it wasn't even 9 a.m. The second picture shows the blue sky moving in as the showers passed on through Lincoln. I don't have any pictures of the bulk of the day, which was actually clear, sunny, and hot. The third picture shows the rather ominous look of the sky around 5:30 p.m. I knew we were in for some severe whether after seeing that.
