The Lincoln Skyline Project (now known as the Nebraska Skyline Project) initially began back in 2010 when I was lucky enough to have a summer job in a building that faced downtown Lincoln. However, my days in the dorms ended in 2013, and I moved to Omaha in the summer 2015. Nevertheless, I chose to continue the project on a broader scale.

June 8, 2010
As I type this, I'm sitting at a desk, only 45 minutes into a 6-hour shift. It's very quiet, but that's fine with me. It's my first ever desk shift alone, so I'd rather not have any major issues thrown my way. Anyway, around four in the morning, I woke up to loud thunder and pouring rain. A quick look at radar showed that it would be raining for a VERY long time. Around eight or nine in the morning, the rain had stopped, but the humidity stuck around. Despite the cooler temperature (only about 77 degrees), it felt as warm as any 85 or 90 degree we've had recently. The sun also made sporadic appearances, but the clouds stuck around for most of the day.
