The Lincoln Skyline Project (now known as the Nebraska Skyline Project) initially began back in 2010 when I was lucky enough to have a summer job in a building that faced downtown Lincoln. However, my days in the dorms ended in 2013, and I moved to Omaha in the summer 2015. Nevertheless, I chose to continue the project on a broader scale.

June 7, 2010
Today, I woke up to some stormy weather. There were a couple rumbles of thunder, but mostly just rain. I had the pleasure of walking to the first meeting of my summer class in the rain. I wasn't as bad off as some of the poor campers staying at UNL for Girls State and freshman who were on campus for new student enrollment. Many of those kids had no umbrella or jacket and were forced to endure the rain unprotected.
Fortunately, it started to clear off by early afternoon, and it ended up actually being a nice day. The temperature never even felt like it reached 80, so it gave everyone a break from the heat.
