The Lincoln Skyline Project (now known as the Nebraska Skyline Project) initially began back in 2010 when I was lucky enough to have a summer job in a building that faced downtown Lincoln. However, my days in the dorms ended in 2013, and I moved to Omaha in the summer 2015. Nevertheless, I chose to continue the project on a broader scale.

July 4, 2010--Independence Day
I don't have a picture for Independence Day because (obviously) I was home in Grand Island for the weekend. However, I do have a video from the day that I can share. This video was recorded at about 10:30 p.m. in the field behind our house. The footage itself is really nothing spectacular, but the sounds are ridiculous. It sounds like Grand Island, Iraq instead of Grand Island, NE. The noise was pretty much continuous from about 8:00 p.m. to 1 a.m.
