The day started out a little cloudy, but it cleared off quickly and turned into a gorgeous day. It only reached the mid-eighties and the humidity was really low. It felt ridiculously cool compared to the past couple weeks. The funniest part is that most of the Special Olympics athletes were gone by noon today. It's too bad they couldn't see that Nebraska weather is not always this intense in the summer.
Anyway, it was good day. It was interesting to meet the athletes and people from so many different states this week, but I was happy to have a break. I had six days of work in a row, plus class Monday through Friday. Because no one was around by 3 p.m., I was allowed to leave work early, which made the day even better! Tomorrow I have completely off. Good times!
