The Lincoln Skyline Project (now known as the Nebraska Skyline Project) initially began back in 2010 when I was lucky enough to have a summer job in a building that faced downtown Lincoln. However, my days in the dorms ended in 2013, and I moved to Omaha in the summer 2015. Nevertheless, I chose to continue the project on a broader scale.

July 30, 2010
Today was EXTREMELY hot and humid. The morning was cloudy, so the temperature wasn't particularly high, but you could feel the air when you went outside. It still wasn't as bad as the ridiculous heat and humidity from a couple weeks ago, but it was pretty sticky outside. My mom and sister came into town, so it was good to see them. We were outside at the Lincoln Sunken Gardens for a while, and after about 30-45 minutes we had to leave. It was just too brutal outside.
Still, it's Friday, and I have duty in my own dorm, so I'm quite pleased with how this week is ending. I'm just crossing my fingers that it's a quiet night, so I can get some of the sleep I missed yesterday night and have a good lead-in for the weekend.
