The Lincoln Skyline Project (now known as the Nebraska Skyline Project) initially began back in 2010 when I was lucky enough to have a summer job in a building that faced downtown Lincoln. However, my days in the dorms ended in 2013, and I moved to Omaha in the summer 2015. Nevertheless, I chose to continue the project on a broader scale.

May 17, 2010
Well, yesterday was gloomy and humid, and today the day started out the same way. In the morning it was 95% humidity (death to the hair), cloudy, and warm. The second picture shows the afternoon view. I missed the brief period of time that the clouds broke and the sun came out because I was out enjoying the improved weather myself. Fortunately, around 8:00 p.m. I could see that the cloud bank was drifting off and giving way to clear sky. By the time the sky began to darken, the sky over Lincoln was mostly clear. I hope this means I'll wake up to sunshine tomorrow!
