The Lincoln Skyline Project (now known as the Nebraska Skyline Project) initially began back in 2010 when I was lucky enough to have a summer job in a building that faced downtown Lincoln. However, my days in the dorms ended in 2013, and I moved to Omaha in the summer 2015. Nevertheless, I chose to continue the project on a broader scale.

Yeah...that's right. This is what I saw when I woke up on the day my coworkers and I were supposed to head off to camp. I must admit, I didn't have high hopes for the day when I pulled back my blinds and saw this mess. The only positive thing that came to mind was that it wasn't raining quite as hard as last year. As it turned out, except for the occasional downpour, the rain did not ruin our camp experience. I was outdoors for the vast majority of the day, and I think everyone really enjoyed themselves. There were a few minor issues (my hair curling out of control in the high humidity and my perpetually soaking socks and shoes), but overall I would rate this year's camp MUCH higher than last year's.
